Time files when you have good time? ..You sure about it?

Well, a lot have happened since last post, some good, a lot of bad..  Like my friend always says (over and over and over again) " that's just life ".. Sometimes she drives me batshit crazy with it, but her ideas are more crazier than mine so..

Had one Dominion styled sword commission last month, shipped it out few days ago and waiting to see when those arrive to my clients location.  I won't upload YET ANOTHER pic about Dominion swords, plenty of pics there about those..

I have other smaller items that should show to you, items that not sure anymore.. when I made those. Months ago anyway.. There is new version of templar cross with wings.. (YET ANOTHER ONE!!), yes yes, templar cross is my favorite along with skulls. One Dredd badge, more comic badge styled.. and few 3D statues that I made for my friend that drives me crazy. I won't upload pictures about these statues in here, it's her job.. She said that pics will be uploaded sometime soon in her own deviantart page.

Many projects that I have are on hold due need of certain items/tools..  and space for them.

I'll try to upload those pics soon, but I don't promise anything. I have had somekind of itching to make knight styled swords lately.. not one, but three maybe.

Time will tell if those are made or not..

I have been "sleeping" rather long time now and not fully open for business at the moment, but maybe I should.

I walked away for a while, it grew longer time that I thought, but thats part of it and needed the time to see new things.

Mainly focused my eyes into lasers. Company where I work currently bought industrial level laser (expensive) for their markings and that made me interested about those machines. I plan to buy my own laser engraver (cheaper one of course) for my own projects and have been talking about it with other co-worker who is also keen to have his own laser. Boys and their toys, yes.

IF that laser works like I hope, I can offer custom markings into small items. Look into my gallery, I added already three pics. Card cases with engravings made with industrial level laser. Aluminium surface is always harder for laser, don't ask why cause I can't give right answer from top of my head right now. Steel surface is a lot easier for laser engraving. And when I'm talking about engraving, I mean more or less burning the picture into the surface than digging holes with laser into the material.

I made pile of junk for my own usage already with companys laser, at my own time I have to add. They are really strict about that when they pay for me, my focus goes into their stuff. So other things happens off the clock. At my own time. I guess that is normal thing in many many many firms and it's ok in my book. Their dime, their rules.

Ah, yes.. Other thing. I changed my Logo into this one made by Melancholita .


I had it made few months ago while I felt that I need a logo for myself. I liked the dark themed style of Melancholita and she is really nice + talented artist. I enjoyed to work with her on this logo project. I sented earlier few items with engraved logo on them and I do like it, plan to use it on my things as long as it fits into my work. I promised to give her little token after commission was done and while it took few months to fulfill the promise. I hope that she was surpriced to find that envelope from her mail on that day.

If you like dark themed art, check her page and give a Watch! Not all art should be sunny, bright and there is more colors than laws allows..

Ok, thats it for now.. I'll try to be more active and seemingly my membership in DeviantArt is about to end. Have to say, I'm not fully sure should I support DeviantArts path of greed with my dimes or not. That will be seen in the near future.

I have been around for a long time and seen this nice and supportive site gone moneyprinter for the firm who owns this.

Most recent case that I noticed happened to CaroleHumphreys ( carolehumphreys.deviantart.com… ). She bought this 'Core Membership' for full year, but it turns out that SOME thing happened in DA side and she never got what she paid for. Yes, She waited for a while, opened helldesk ticket, but more or less was brushed off with claims, that her money is refunded + she got 1 month free membership.

Thing is, She paid the membership on her debit card (not credit card or via points/paypal) She can't have her money back through credit firms / paypal. Her bank says, that payment was sented and received in the other end. She have bank statements from this. DA have given just claims (not proofs) that refund is sented. Her bank statements also says, NO REFUNDS!

So, I noticed that my membership is over within 5 months and I will not support this kind of scamming ..I will not renew my membership in here. Their poor customer service is beyond lowest that I have heard for some time and I ask you there to look into her side of the story. Take your time when reading it.

Yes, amount of money isn't that big, but I wouldn't give even one cent to firm that is runned as poorly as DA is nowdays. We, clients who have paid for membership are treated like milking cows, leeched our money with grand theft automatic billing and when something like this happens.. error in accounts.. they brush the claims under the rug and forget it.

Go into her page, read her story and if you think that DA isn't fair.. MAKE A NOICE!! Write a journal, lets use the power that many voices have and if you like to join into my line, Not paying for this anymore.. I will thank you. DA might not, but at this point.. We need to make a noice to make them to give what they owe to Carole..

Little side note: After DA suddenly changed "Premium memberhip" to be.. "Core membership", I have seen more and more this kind of events to happen. It's like old crew who build this and knew what people wants/needs, was pushed out and new greedy people wanna make fast buck with this.

What ever you might do, go and show your support for Carole. She have been here 12 years now, true veteran and wonderful artist (!) and now even DA is biting her hand. That makes me angry.
